After launching a Special video with Sonakshi Sinha, rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh is now ready to lend his support to Indian sport kabaddi by buying a team in the World kabaddi League (WKL).
At an event held in the Capital, Honey Singh announced that his team will be named Yo Yo Tigers.
Actor Akshay Kumar was the first celebrity to endorse this sport and buy a team in the league, which is scheduled to be held in five different countries - starting with the UK - from August to December this year.

"I like action-based sports and kabaddi has always been my favourite sport. Since I grew up playing kabaddi, I wanted to be associated with it," said Singh, who had also started the Global Fighting Championship in Dubai.
WKL is the first International kabaddi league coming out of India. It is loosely based on the Formula 1 touring sport format and will be the first Indian sport league with an international footprint and a five month long calendar. 'Circle style kabaddi', which will be played during this league, is the most popular international format of the sport that is followed in as many as 26 countries.
The popular rapper even plans to roll out a New song in support of his team Yo Yo Tigers.
